Privacy Policy

Your data stays on your device. FormSnap does not upload your photos, measurements, or personal information to any server. We have no backend database of user data. We have no access to your progress photos — ever.

We do NOT collect or store:

• Your progress photos
• Your body measurements
• Your name, age, weight, or any biometric data
• Your location
• Any identifiable personal information

All photos and measurements you log are stored exclusively in your device's local file system and SQLite database. Deleting the app removes all data permanently.

Data we may process locally on your device:

• Photos you take within the app (stored locally, never transmitted)
• Body measurements you log (stored locally in SQLite)
• App preferences and settings (stored locally)
• Streak and check-in data (stored locally)

FormSnap uses the following third-party services, which may collect limited data:

• RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions and purchase validation. RevenueCat receives anonymous purchase receipts and a device identifier to verify subscription status. No health or photo data is shared. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI (optional AI scan feature) — if you use the AI body scan feature, a photo is transmitted to OpenAI's API for analysis. This transmission is opt-in, happens only when you explicitly trigger the scan, and OpenAI's data retention policies apply. FormSnap does not store the photo or analysis result on any server. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Services — distribution and update delivery on Android. Standard platform data collection applies per Google's policies.

FormSnap requests access to your device camera and photo library solely to allow you to take and save progress photos. We do not scan your existing photo library, share photos with third parties, or upload photos to any server (except the opt-in AI scan described above).

FormSnap may use your device's Face ID or fingerprint authentication to protect access to the app. Biometric data is processed entirely by your device's secure enclave — FormSnap never receives, processes, or stores biometric data.

FormSnap is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has used our app, contact us and we will assist with data deletion.

Since FormSnap stores data only on your device, you have complete control:

• Access your data: All data is visible within the app.
• Delete your data: Use the Settings screen to delete individual measurements, photos, or all data. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
• Export your data: Progress reels and photos can be shared via the standard Android share sheet.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice or an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
